I was very surprised to hear this morning that General Powell has endorsed Barack Obama for President!  I have been reading a few articles about it on various websites such as Time.com and the BBC, and was reading that he says that part of his decision was based on McCain’s decision to ask Sarah Palin to be his running mate.  He says that Sarah Palin is not ready for the White House, and he also expressed disappointment in how the campaign ads have been turning so negative.
