My girl friend that lives in Freeport has told me that she has accepted a job offer in New York City. She is going to have to move there in about two months. She owns her home in Freeport and is not quite sure if she should sell it or rent it out. I’ve suggested that she would be better off (in this real estate market) to rent it out; that way if the job in New York doesn’t work out she has a place back here in Maine that she can move back to! Plus Freeport is a popular area, she shouldn’t have a difficult time finding tenants, and she could certainly use the rental income!
She is dreading the difficult search of looking at Apartments in New York near where she will be working. She has started her apartment search through a company called Innovative Apartments.
