I am going to be pricing out buying a whole house attic fan. I have several friends that have them, and they swear that it helps to keep the house cooler in the summer and reduces their energy costs. I’m all for keeping the house cooler in the summer! I get very uncomfortable when the thermometer goes above 80 degrees, which is pretty much all of June, July, August, and most of September! And I HATE how high the electric bill get from running the air conditioner all summer long!
Well we got up early and went to church, dressed in our Easter Best clothes. Then we went to my uncle’s house for the family Easter celebration. They held a big Easter Egg hunt for all of the kids out in the big back wooded yard. There must have been a hundred eggs! Afterwards we ate a huge dinner, the main meat being a large spiral cut honey ham. It was delicious! After dinner, all of the family musicians pulled out their instruments and jammed for hours while the children danced to the music. It was a great party!
Since my entire family is in and/or from show business from as far back as any of us can remember, I think that next Easter I am going to suggest for the Easter party that we add a little extra atmosphere to the occasion by dressing up in Easter costumes. There are adult costumes of Easter bunnies that the kids would LOVE to see their parents dress up in! The family babies would look adorable in White Rabbit costumes. And as we all know, almost all kids love to dress up in costumes for any occasion; so I say we should let them wear kids costumes this next Easter and film the Easter egg hunt and the children dancing in their costumes for the after dinner festivities.
Early every spring, my father would say this little ditty: “Spring has sprung, the grass has ris’, I wonder where the flowers is?”
Well, the daffodils are up, the forsythias are in full bloom, and the pear trees are blossoming! It has been a very mild winter for us, but I am glad that it is on its way out! I don’t like the heat of summer, but I LOVE spring. Spring is definitely my absolute FAVORITE season of the year!
Oops! I forgot to put on green yesterday morning when I got dressed! I got a lot of teasing (and a few light pinches!) from friends and family! Oh well, it was all in fun. I changed my clothes into something green, and we went out to eat dinner at a local pub and drank green beer.
Technology has greatly advanced and these advances are enabling people from around the world to share thoughts and broadcast through the use of blogs. The worpal Random thoughts blog posted an article describing how easy it is to set up a 
podcast or internet webcast today. I think that the audio and video netcasting is awesome. It would be even better if there was a better way to search through all of the audio and video podcasts to find relative talks of interest. Hopefully, at some point soon, the big search engines will find a way to transcribe and create text based directories of all the talk shows and audio sharing that has happened and certainly will happen over the coming years.
In the meantime I hope we’ll see broadcasters using descriptive keywords in posts and tags to help interested parties to find each other!
